Packing guide for winter in iceland

Winter in Iceland sounds a little scary and freezing, but don't freak out just yet, Iceland doesn't get as cold as you think it would based on it's location right outside of the arctic circle. To put this into perspective, New York City is usually colder in the winter than Iceland is!  But, this doesn't mean you don't need to bundle!  Remember, this also depends on what part of the county you will be in.

If you are traveling to Iceland between Nov - March, the temperature will most likely be around 20 F - 40 F.
